Michael Pierce serves as the Director of Project Management at Purple Innovation since October 2017, where responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams to gather requirements and develop strategic business cases, along with conceptualizing product roadmaps and executing product launches. Prior to this role, Michael held positions as a Senior Project Manager and Consultant at Milestone Management Consultants, where project management methodologies were enhanced through training in Lean Six Sigma. Experience as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Select Comfort involved product design and process improvements, while tenure as the Chief Engineer at ZeroScape Turf focused on business management and engineering project designs. Michael contributed to significant transformations at Overstock.com in supply chain management and implemented lean practices at Parker Hannifin to reduce waste and costs. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Brigham Young University and an Associate of Science in Industrial Engineering from Utah Valley University.
