Ryszard T. Kaleta

Ryszard T. Kaleta's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Starting in 2005, they worked as a School Intern at Arup, where they gained experience in façade engineering and R&D. Ryszard T. built a CO2 travel emissions calculator and produced technical drawings during this time.

In 2012, Ryszard joined J.P. Morgan as a Software Engineer, starting as an Analyst and later becoming an Associate. Ryszard T. worked on a data discovery and analysis platform and collaborated with Sales and management for client profiling and reporting. Ryszard T. also translated MS Excel models into features for a fixed income analytics system.

In 2015, Ryszard moved to Twizoo as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they played a pivotal role in building ML models and surfacing user-generated content from social media to enhance conversion rates. Twizoo was later acquired by Skyscanner.

At Skyscanner, Ryszard held multiple positions. Starting as a Senior Software Engineer in 2017, they led the engineering efforts related to the Twizoo project. Ryszard T. expanded their role to become an Engineering Manager, responsible for the hotels web product and later the hotels data strategy. Ryszard T. built interdisciplinary teams and helped navigate organizational changes during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, Ryszard works at Purple Dot - The Waitlist Company as an Engineer/Manager. Ryszard T. is involved in building useful software and leading productive teams to create trusted pre-order experiences for brands.

Ryszard T. Kaleta obtained their Master of Engineering (Hons) degree in Computing from Imperial College London, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Prior to their time at Imperial College, they attended Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School from 2006 to 2008, where they completed their A Levels. In addition to their formal education, Ryszard T. Kaleta also earned a Diploma of Associateship in Computing from the City & Guilds of London Institute in August 2012.
