Michael Spalding

Michael Spalding has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Michael is currently serving as the Senior Director of Operations at Telrite Holdings, Inc., where they are responsible for overseeing customer support, sales functions, warehouse and fulfillment, and loss prevention for three brands. Michael has successfully scaled the field sales team and implemented a culture of continuous improvement.

Prior to their current role, Michael worked at Bellhop, where they held multiple positions including Vice President, Move Support, Director of Customer Operations, and Senior Manager, Customer Care + Claims. Michael was responsible for managing market operations, optimizing workforce allocation, and driving customer satisfaction and organic business growth. Notably, they led the successful transition to a remote work model during the pandemic and grew the team significantly to meet increased demand.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked at Verizon, where they held the positions of Associate Director, Strategic Projects & Customer Service, and Senior Manager, Operations. Michael managed budgets, improved customer experience scores, and demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout their tenure.

Michael Spalding earned their Executive MBA from Auburn University Harbert College of Business from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Managerial Sciences at Georgia State University in 2020. In 2003, Michael obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from American River College. Michael also holds several certifications including Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from Auburn University Harbert College of Business in December 2022, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from University of Georgia - Terry College of Business in June 2019, TESOL from International Open Academy in 2019, and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in June 2019.
