Ron Schaeffer has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Ron currently holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer at pureLiFi Ltd since April 2016. Prior to this, they served as the Company Director at thinkproduct ltd from January 2011 to December 2022.

From March 2009 to January 2011, Ron worked as the Portfolio Strategy Director at Wolfson Microelectronics. Ron also served as the Director for Consumer Products Strategy at Motorola from June 2005 to February 2009.

Before their tenure at Motorola, Ron held the role of Product Management Director at Sendo from January 2000 to June 2005 where they established and led the global handset product planning and management team.

Earlier in their career, Ron worked at Philips as the Business Development Manager from 1999 to 2000 and as the Product & Platform Director from 1996 to 1999. Ron also worked as a Program Administrator at Motorola from 1994 to 1996.

Ron Schaeffer attended the University of Oklahoma from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a BBA degree in Marketing with Advertising. In 1993, they studied Deutsch als Fremdsprache (German as a foreign language) and Volkswirtschaftslehre (Economics) at Universität Heidelberg. Additionally, in 1992, they briefly attended Technische Universität Braunschweig, focusing on the German Language.
