Hamid Shekarchi, CPA, CA, CBV, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in both corporate finance and advisory services. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and VP of Finance at Pure Sunfarms since March 2021, Hamid contributes to one of Canada’s leading licensed producers of greenhouse-grown cannabis. Previously, Hamid held multiple roles at BDO Canada from February 2012 to March 2021, including Senior Manager in Financial Advisory Services, where expertise encompassed business and securities valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation support. Additional experience includes positions at CA School of Business and PwC. Hamid is a graduate of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators and the CA School of Business.
