JD Wallace is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in system engineering and technology strategy. Currently serving as Director and Principal Technologists at Pure Storage since May 2020, JD has held multiple key roles including Principal Technologist and Principal Systems Engineer. Prior to this, JD was an Enterprise Systems Engineer at Veeam Software and held senior positions at Western Digital, following the acquisition of Tegile. JD began the career at Microsoft with various engineering roles, culminating in service operations. JD's educational background includes a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas, complemented by participation in the Arkansas Governor's School.
