Andrew McBride has 15 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Andrew is currently the Head of Platform Operations at PURE Insurance, where they lead the IT team in improving claims-related systems and processes. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at PURE Insurance.

Before joining PURE Insurance, Andrew worked at Farmers Insurance for 12 years, holding various roles. Andrew was the National Claims Process & Strategy Manager, where they focused on improving claim quality, accuracy, and customer service. Andrew also served as the National Auto Strategy & Process Lead, regional Auto Claims Manager, Liability Claims Manager, Application Development Core Team member, and Liability/Coverage Claims Supervisor during their tenure at Farmers Insurance.

Throughout their career, Andrew has gained expertise in project management, process improvement, team leadership, and stakeholder communication.

Andrew McBride earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice & Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. In 2016, they pursued further education and obtained a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI, which they completed in 2019. Additionally, in July 2020, McBride acquired the certification of Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from OD Management Inc., specializing in Agile, SAFe, Scaled Agile Framework, SPC5, Scrum, Scrum@Scale Training, and LMS Dev.
