Emer Flounders, Jr., PE has over 40 years of experience in various roles related to corrosion control, materials engineering, and asset integrity. Emer'smost recent position was as a Business Development Manager at PureHM Cathodic Protection, where they were responsible for identifying new opportunities and clientele and providing a range of cathodic protection services. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Director at Pond & Company, where they focused on expanding client reach and providing guidance in mechanical integrity, corrosion control, coatings, and pipeline survey divisions. Emer also has extensive experience at Corrpro Companies, Inc. as a Principal Engineer, Division III Engineering Manager, and Senior Project Manager, where they provided engineering support, managed teams, and oversaw project scopes. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc., Henkels & McCoy, SEMCOR, Inc., and PSG Corrosion Engineering, Inc. In these roles, they developed and implemented corrosion control programs, conducted testing and analysis, and designed cathodic protection systems.
Emer Flounders, Jr., PE attended Drexel University from 1975 to 1981. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering with a specialization in Metallurgy. Additionally, they chose to minor in Polymer and Composite Materials.
