Duncan Rainey FCA has a diverse work experience that spans across various companies and roles. Duncan is currently working at Pure Electric Limited as the Head of Finance Operations and Treasury, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Treasury and Cash Controller at Pure Electric Limited from September 2021 to February 2022.

In their role as Internal Audit Manager, they were responsible for identifying risks, designing effective financial internal control frameworks, and conducting internal audits. Duncan also collaborated with stakeholders at the highest management levels to enhance control procedures.

Duncan's earlier experience includes a brief secondment at Lloyds Banking Group as the Interim PPI Finance Manager from June 2011 to September 2011, ensuring the implementation of financial controls for managing the PPI provision. Duncan started their career at Deloitte in 2004, serving as Manager, Enterprise Risk Services until September 2011. Additionally, they briefly worked at Deloitte NZ as an ERS Manager in 2008.

Throughout their career, Duncan Rainey FCA has developed expertise in finance operations, treasury management, cashflow management, reporting, revenue accounting, internal audit, and risk management.

Duncan Rainey FCA began their education journey at Imperial College London in 1998, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Duncan successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2001. In 2003, Duncan furthered their education by enrolling in Nottingham University Business School. Duncan pursued a Master of Science degree in International Business and completed their studies in 2004. Following their master's degree, Duncan went on to join the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in 2004, where they pursued the ACA qualification. Duncan dedicated three years to this program, successfully graduating in 2007.
