Mackenzie Atkins is a Recreational Therapist at Pure Abilities Therapeutic Services since March 2023, with prior experience as a Merchandising Intern at Walt Disney World and a Recreational Therapy Intern at Ferraro Behavior Services. Mackenzie has a strong background in direct support and care, having worked as a Direct Care Staff member at Apex Behavioral Services and as a Direct Support Professional at Stone Belt Arc, where assistance was provided to clients with varying disabilities. Previous roles also include serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Indiana University Bloomington, focusing on therapeutic recreation for older adults with dementia.
