Sara Draper has a strong background in analytical research and development, with experience in various leadership and management roles. Sara is currently the Director of Analytical Research and Development at Imbrium Therapeutics since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Associate Director of Analytical Sciences at Imbrium Therapeutics from January 2020 to December 2022.

Before joining Imbrium Therapeutics, Sara served as the Associate Director of Analytical Sciences at Purdue Pharma L.P. starting in April 2017. Prior to Purdue Pharma, they held multiple roles at Banner Life Sciences, including Senior Manager of Analytical Development from January 2017 to April 2017, Manager of Analytical Development from September 2014 to January 2017, and Scientist from July 2013 to September 2014.

Earlier in their career, Sara worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions as a Group Leader of Analytical Stability from February 2013 to June 2013, and as a Senior Scientist from April 2011 to February 2013. Sara began their career as an Analytical Project Leader at Synthon Pharmaceuticals from December 2008 to April 2011, and as an Analytical Chemist from June 2005 to December 2008.

Sara's career in the pharmaceutical industry started at Cardinal Health as a Scientist from 2002 to 2005.

Sara Draper holds a Ph.D. degree in Fiber and Polymer Science from North Carolina State University. Sara also attended North Rowan High School.
