Allison Owens is a Carbon Manager at PUR, specializing in the certification of nature-based carbon projects in the AFOLU sector and managing compliance with certification frameworks. Prior experience includes serving as the Nature-Based Solutions Deputy Program Manager at AECOM, where leadership was demonstrated in developing global forest programs and securing carbon offsets for COP28. As an Environmental Policy Analyst at the USDA, Allison contributed to climate policy under the Biden Administration and was a Presidential Management Fellow. Previous roles at SC&A, Inc. and the Millennium Challenge Corporation further developed expertise in environmental policy, risk modeling, and international development initiatives. Educationally, Allison holds a Master's degree in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge, a Master of Public Policy in Global Environmental Policy from the University of Virginia Frank Batten School, and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Global Environmental Studies and Sustainability from the University of Virginia.
