Juan Carlos Cabrera Galvis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Juan Carlos started their career as a Marketing Intern at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in 2000. Juan Carlos then moved on to become a Treasury Analyst at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for cash flow management and inter-company accounts receivable/payable management.
In 2005, Juan Carlos joined Syngenta Crop Protection as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they managed the company's cash flow and implemented overheads controlling projects. Juan Carlos later joined Philip Morris International as a Planning Supervisor, where they coordinated controlling and planning activities, and conducted financial reporting and analysis.
At Philip Morris International, Juan Carlos also held the role of Treasury Manager, where they were responsible for the Treasury Department of PMI's affiliates in Colombia. Juan Carlos then took on the role of Treasurer and Distribution Project Manager, where they provided strategic support and leadership in the development and implementation of the New Distribution Model for the company.
In 2012, Juan Carlos joined Celsia S.A. E.S.P., where they initially served as Treasurer, overseeing the Treasury function of multiple legal entities with significant annual revenues. Juan Carlos later became the Treasury and Investor Relations Director, responsible for optimizing the company's relationship with shareholders, investors, and other stakeholders, as well as ensuring compliance with stock exchange requirements.
Currently, Juan Carlos holds the position of Finance Director - CFO at Puntos Colombia. In this role, they provide leadership and management of the finance function, including accounting, taxes, financial planning and analysis, and treasury. Juan Carlos drives financial planning, prepares forecasting reports, and performs risk management for the company.

Juan Carlos Cabrera Galvis has a diverse educational background, starting with their BSc in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, which they obtained from 1996 to 2001. Later on, in 2005, they pursued a Diploma in Foreign Trade at CESA. Following this, in the same year, they engaged in post-graduate studies in Corporate Finance also at CESA. More recently, in 2017 and 2018, Juan Carlos attended INALDE Business School, where they completed the Programa de Desarrollo Directivo, focusing on Business Administration and Management in a general sense.
