Sophie Hewlett is a seasoned professional in the arts and cultural sector, currently serving as Senior Producer at Punchdrunk since March 2023. Previously, Sophie held the position of Head of Producing at Somerset House Trust from July 2017 to November 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing a team dedicated to a diverse cultural program, including notable events such as the Summer Series with American Express and Film4 Summer Screen. Prior to this, Sophie was Head of Production at Serious from August 2010 to July 2017, managing major music events and festivals like the EFG London Jazz Festival. Early career experiences included roles as Production Manager and Coordinator at Artichoke Trust, as well as a Production Coordinator at Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival. Sophie holds a Master of Arts degree in Contemporary Performance Practice from the University of Kent and has also studied at the University of Miami.
