Angela Parsons is an experienced attorney currently serving as an Attorney-Advisor in the Office of the General Counsel at the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia since September 2020. In this role, Angela advises on regulated utilities and has held additional responsibilities as the Agency Ethics Counsel, managing internal ethics inquiries and financial disclosures, and as the Agency FOIA Counsel, overseeing FOIA requests and appeals. Angela is a member of the NARUC Critical Infrastructure Staff Subcommittee since June 2023 and also serves as a Hearing Officer for the District of Columbia Mayor's Office of Legal Counsel. Previous roles include serving as the Sexual Harassment Officer for the DC Government and working as an Attorney-Advisor and Deputy Administrator for the Office of Documents and Administrative Issuances. Angela’s legal career began at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, followed by a position as a Staff Attorney for FiberTower Corp. Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, English, and History from Converse University and a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School.
