Erica Johnson possesses extensive experience in emergency medical services and workplace safety, currently serving as an EMT/Corrections Officer at the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections since August 2018. Prior roles include EHS Technician at Ventura Foods and Lead First Aid Attendant at Yoh, where responsibilities encompassed medical surveillance, worker's compensation case management, patient care, and employee training. Erica also worked as a Medical Supervisor at Boise Paper, overseeing injury tracking and safety compliance, and started the career as an EMT at Acadian Ambulance, providing patient assessment and treatment. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in General Studies/Social Science at Northwestern State University, Erica also holds an Emergency Medical Tech certification from South Louisiana Community College and a high school diploma from Vinton High School.
