Deja Thomas is a Survey Analyst with the Public Policy Institute of California since January 2021, focusing on statewide surveys. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Pew Research Center from August 2018 to December 2020, where involvement in the Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Council and the Junior Staff group occurred. Earlier, Deja served as a Research Assistant at the Intergroup Social Perception Lab from May 2017 to July 2018, programming questionnaires on race perceptions and stereotypes. Additionally, Deja worked as a Student Office Assistant in the College of Social Sciences Dean's Office at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from January 2015 to May 2018, managing sensitive documents and clerical duties. Deja holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, earned in 2018.
