Fund Principal : Turnaround And Value Add at Public Investment Corporation

Ken Wienand CA(SA) CTP has extensive experience in various roles throughout their career. Ken currently serves as a Fund Principal for Turnaround and Value Add at the Public Investment Corporation. Prior to this, Ken was the Director of Bodacious Consulting at the Bodacious Group, where they provided advisory and consulting services in business turnaround and rescue. Ken also served as a Founding Board Member of CHAPS, a public benefit organization focused on voluntary medical male circumcision. Ken has been a member of GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) and held the position of Director at RAK Solutions. Ken was also an Advisory Partner at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants, where they provided financial management training to government departments. Additionally, they served as a Director and Member of the National Executive Committee at MSGM Masuku Jeena. Ken began their career as a Senior Manager/Director at Ernst and Young and held roles at the S A Institute for Medical Research and JCI Management Services as well.

Ken Wienand CA(SA) CTP has a strong educational background. In 1995, they obtained a CA(SA) degree in Accounting and Auditing from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1990, they pursued a B Compt Hons CTA degree in Auditing and Accounting from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Ken also holds a B compt and Bcompt hons degree with a focus on CA(SA) from the same institution. Additionally, Ken Wienand has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including being an Associate Member of IWIRC, holding the Insol certification from INSOL International, being a member of SARIPA, holding the FE5 certification from the Financial Sector Conduct Authority, and being a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) certified by the Turnaround Management Association. Ken has also obtained the SAICA CA(SA) qualification in 1995.
