John Mason serves as a board member for several organizations, including the Public Affairs Council, Smithsonian's Anacostia Community Museum, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, and The Congressional Award. Additionally, John holds the position of Chair for the Corporate Advisory Council at the Congressional Black Caucus Institute and serves as an Advisory Council Member for the Global African Diaspora Initiative. In the corporate sector, John has been with Altria since January 2019, progressing through roles from Senior Manager of Political Programs to Senior Director of Federal Government Affairs. John's commitment to public service is also reflected in prior leadership at Miriam's Kitchen and active participation in the National Association of Business Political Action Committees. John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from The Catholic University of America.
