Chan Nyein Aung has a diverse work experience starting from 2006 as an Assistant Lecturer and Head of Mechanical Department at Technical College. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Inspection Engineer/Assistant Director (Boiler) at the Ministry of Industry. They then joined PTTEP in 2012 as a Corrosion, Inspection & Subsea Engineer and held that role until 2016. From 2017 to 2017, they worked as a Project Engineer in the Wellhead Platform Construction Department at PTTEP. In 2018, they served as an Engineer (Technical Study and Support). In 2019, they worked as a Maintenance Reliability Engineer, followed by a role as a Corrosion, Inspection & Subsea Engineer from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they are the Head of Maintenance and Inspection Operations at PTTEP, a position they have held since 2022.
Chan Nyein Aung obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Defence Services Technological University in 2002. From 2003 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Science in Engineering (M.Sc. Engineering) with a specialization in Power Engineering (Thermal Physics) at Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
