Ken John has a diverse work experience in various IT roles. Ken is currently working as an IT Support Technician at PTS Data Center Solutions, Inc. since June 2022. Prior to this, they were a Help Desk Technician at Robert Half from October 2021 to June 2022, where they managed users using Chrome OS, administered Group Policy operations, and supported over 3000 users in maintaining corporate Active Directory.
Ken's previous experience includes working as Front Desk Staff at Holiday Inn Express from January 2015 to January 2021. Ken also interned as a Network Security & IT Support Engineer at SafeComs Network Security Consulting in May 2019, where they integrated SSO with ConnectWise, set up new computers with Windows 10, and developed a CMDB using Odoo.
Additionally, Ken interned as an IT intern at Jet Aviation from November 2018 to May 2019. During this time, they assisted users in transitioning from Good to Blackberry UEM, analyzed technical issue tickets, communicated with users both on the phone and on-site, upgraded machines to Windows 10, and configured users on the new MEP VPN.
Ken John attended Ramapo College of New Jersey from 2015 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Prior to that, they attended Bergen Community College from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree. In addition to their formal education, Ken John also received a certification in "Power BI: Dashboards for Beginners" from LinkedIn in January 2023.
