Eko Darmawan has a range of experience in different roles within the field of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). Eko started their career in 2011 as a Safety Officer at Keihin Indonesia Pt. Eko then moved on to PT. Nusa Konstruksi Enjiniring as a QHSE personnel from April 2013 to July 2014. Eko then worked as an HSE Officer at PT. Riung Mitra Lestari from July 2014 to March 2015. Following that, they became an HSE Inspector at PT. Atrya Swascipta Rekayasa from April 2015 to June 2016. Eko then joined PT. Surya Metalindo as an HSE Engineer from July 2016 to July 2017. Eko currently holds the position of Deputy Head Of Department at PT. MASPION, starting from July 2017.

Eko Darmawan earned their Bachelor's degree in Teknik Lingkungan/Kesehatan Lingkungan from Universitas Sebelas Maret, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, Eko has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Penanggung jawab Udara (PPPU) from LSP Lingkungan Hidup Surabaya in October 2022, Pengolahan limbah B3 (PLB3) from LSP Lingkungan Hidup Nasional Surabaya in April 2021, EMS ISO 14001:2015 & EMS ISO 50001:2011 from Asosiasi AK3 Surabaya in March 2016, AK3 Umum from Pt. trust bimo indonesia in April 2015, Leadership (inhouse) from Sucofindo in January 2015, SMK3 (System Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja) from Synergy Solusi Indonesia in February 2013, Q-EMS Integrated Awareness ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 from Indonesia Productivity And Quality Institute in July 2012, Implementation HIRARC and IADL in Manufacture from Indonesia Productivity and Quality Institute in June 2012, P2K3 (Panitia Pembina Keselamatan Dan Kesehatan Kerja) from Production & Quality Improvement in May 2012, Restriction of Hazardous Substance (RoHS) and Substances of concerns (SoC) from Productivity and Quality Improvement in December 2011. Furthermore, Eko has also obtained certifications in PMI (Palang Merah indonesia) - Surakarta in May 2009 and Pemadam Kebakaran (Surakarta) in March 2009.
