Lead Medicinal Chemist at Psylo

William Jorgensen has a diverse range of work experience. William is currently serving as the Lead Medicinal Chemist at Psylo since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientific Advisor at Kinoxis Therapeutics Pty Ltd, where they contributed to the founding of the company by utilizing the intellectual property generated during their PhD. William was also involved in the regulatory approval of therapeutics for CNS disorders.

In addition, Jorgensen has worked as a Coordinator at Matrix Education since October 2014. William also held the position of NHMRC Peter Doherty Fellow at the University of Sydney from January 2019 to January 2022, where they conducted research on pharmaceuticals for psychiatric disorders.

Their previous roles include Medical Writer at Arterial Group | Pharma & Healthcare Marketing from March 2018 to September 2018 and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Drug Discovery Initiative from December 2016 to February 2018.
