Ryan Paulsen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ryan started their career at the University of Utah, where they worked as a Lab Technician and later as a Research Assistant. In 2006, they joined SMRTL, Inc. as a Senior Analyst and eventually became the Scientific Director. After that, they joined Aegis Sciences Corporation in 2010, initially as a Research Scientist and later as the Laboratory Director of Healthcare Services. In 2014, they started working at Psychemedics Corporation as a Senior Research Chemist for Mass Spectrometry.
Ryan Paulsen holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Utah. Ryan has also obtained additional certifications including a Certificate of Qualification in Clinical and Forensic Toxicology from the New York State Department of Health in August 2015, a Forensic Toxicology Fellow (F-ABFT) from the American Board of Forensic Toxicology in July 2015, and the title Toxicological Chemist from the National Registry of Certified Chemists in September 2012.
