Stuart Brock is a seasoned software development professional with over 25 years of experience in Java development and software engineering. Currently serving as a Java Developer at PS Technology since May 2015, Stuart specializes in creating Java applications for scheduling track maintenance. Prior to this role, Stuart held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Scivantage where responsibilities included converting financial data from a mainframe system to a Java-based platform, and as a Technical Consultant at Broadridge Financial Solutions, developing systems for stock market trades and financial reporting using agile and waterfall methodologies. Additional experience includes work as a Senior Software Engineer at Metso, focusing on a SCADA system for oil transportation, and as a Programmer Analyst at Fisheries and Oceans Canada, designing electronic circuitry for analysis instruments. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a second Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Microbiology from the University of Victoria, complemented by a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp.
