Nicole Kozak has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nicole started their career as a Junior Investment Analyst at Public Works and Government Services Canada in 2016. Following that, they worked at Global Affairs Canada as a Mission Financial Assistant Advisor, where they performed financial monitoring and accounting duties. In 2017, Nicole joined Brookfield Renewable as a Student in the Treasury department, where they managed the company's daily liquidity position and facilitated various financial transactions. Nicole also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa in 2019. Nicole then returned to PSP Investments, first as an Intern in Listed Derivatives, Investment Administration, and Settlements in 2018, and later as both an Analyst and Senior Analyst in Treasury Cash Management starting in 2019. At PSP Investments, they have been involved in reconciling transactions, confirming deals, resolving settlement issues, and consolidating trade commission rates.
Nicole Kozak completed their secondary education at West Carleton Secondary School from 2010 to 2014. Nicole obtained their Ontario Secondary School Diploma from the Ontario Ministry of Education in June 2014. Following this, Nicole pursued higher education at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa from 2014 to 2019. Nicole graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, specializing in Finance. In May 2017, Nicole obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate from Bloomberg LP. Additionally, they also achieved the Delf B2 French Proficiency Test certification in January 2014 from the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB).
