Edoardo Porpiglia has a diverse work experience starting from 2011 to the present. Edoardo is currently working as an Associate - Credit Investments at PSP Investments since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Morgan Stanley from November 2020 to May 2022. Before Morgan Stanley, Edoardo was an Investment Banking Analyst - Leveraged Finance at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from August 2018 to November 2020. Edoardo also gained experience as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at HSBC Global Banking and Markets in June 2017. Edoardo has interned in the finance industry, serving as a Private Equity Intern at Oxy Capital in June 2016 and as a Credit Risk Management Intern at UBI Banca in June 2015. Furthermore, they have worked as an Office Assistant at La Stampa in April 2011.
Edoardo Porpiglia pursued their education in a chronological manner, beginning with their high school years at Liceo Classico V. Alfieri, where they focused on Humanities/Humanistic Studies from 2007 to 2012.
After completing high school, Edoardo enrolled at Università Bocconi and obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics, studying from 2012 to 2015. During the spring term of 2015, they participated in an exchange program at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where they continued their studies in the field of Economics.
In 2015, Edoardo returned to Università Bocconi to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance, which they successfully completed in 2017. Additionally, during the fall term of 2016, they participated in an exchange program as a finance student at Xiamen University.
Edoardo also obtained several certifications throughout their academic journey. In 2011, they achieved the Certificate in Advanced English (Council of Europe Level C1) from the University of Cambridge. In 2013, they obtained the ECDL Core certification from the ECDL Foundation. In 2014, they obtained the ECDL Advanced AM4 - Excel certification, also from the ECDL Foundation, as well as the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Council) with an overall score of 710/800. Moreover, in 2015, they attained the Carlos III Spanish Language Course Exam (Level: B2) from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Finally, in 2017, they obtained the BEC Higher (CEFR level: C2) certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
