Cheyanne Schaefer, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse range of work experience in human resources and leadership roles. Cheyanne is currently working as a Senior Talent Business Partner at Psomas, where they strategically partner with leadership and team members to foster a healthy hybrid work environment. Cheyanne was responsible for various HR functions such as employee engagement, benefits, and policy implementation. Cheyanne worked at KPG from 2019 to 2022.
Before joining KPG, Cheyanne worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Concrete Technology Corporation from 2015 to 2019. In this role, they focused on improving communication, personnel procedures, and employee experience. Cheyanne conducted internal audits, collected data through surveys, and implemented effective programs to increase motivation and engagement.
Cheyanne also gained experience as a Project Coordinator at Progressive Leadership Group from 2014 to 2016. Cheyanne supported consulting activities, developed business and marketing materials, and assisted with surveys and data analysis to help organizations improve their leadership and performance.
In 2013, Cheyanne worked as a Human Resources Assistant at Lindquist Dental Clinic for Children, where they developed their HR skills by organizing personnel files, assisting with interviews and onboarding, and restructuring performance evaluation forms.
Cheyanne began their career at Lancer Hospitality in 2011, starting as a Cashier and progressing to become a Shift Supervisor. In this role, they managed a team of employees and ensured excellent customer service while working under pressure.

Cheyanne Schaefer, SHRM-SCP, received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Human Resources and Management, from Pacific Lutheran University from 2012 to 2015. Prior to this, they studied Business Administration and Management, General, at Pierce College from 2011 to 2012.
In 2016, Cheyanne pursued their Master's of Science degree in Human Resources Management at Capella University, completing their studies in 2018. Additionally, they obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in May 2016.
