Marta Saavedra is currently holding the position of Senadora por Gran Canaria at PSOE since July 2023. Prior to this role, Marta served as Directora General de Transparencia y Participaci贸n ciudadana en el Gobierno de Canarias at Consejer铆a de AAPP, Justicia y Seguridad from August 2019 to July 2023. Marta also has experience in P煤blico y Actividades Pedag贸gicas at ARTES ESC脡NICAS DEL CABILDO DE GRAN CANARIA from July 2001 to July 2023. Marta obtained a Diplomatura in Turismo from Escuela de Turismo de La Caja de Canarias in the years 1995 to 1998 and studied Estudios del Primer ciclo in Ingl茅s y Franc茅s at Facultad de Traducci贸n e Interpretaci贸n de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) from 1992 to 1995.
