M. Shawn Koontz is an experienced mechanical engineer with a career spanning over three decades. Since June 2012, M. Shawn Koontz has served as a Mechanical Engineer at Bechtel Corporation and has also been a Mechanical Engineer PE at PRECISION SYSTEMS ENGINEERING since September 2011. Previous roles include mechanical engineering positions at ORNL from March 2008 to September 2011, and as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at ATS&R Planners / Architects / Engineers from November 1998 to August 2004. M. Shawn Koontz began professional training at CLH as a Mechanical Engineer PE from July 1992 to September 1996. M. Shawn Koontz obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Salt Lake Community College.
