Lauren Moffatt is a Partner at Prysm Capital where she primarily works with Prysm’s investors. Lauren has spent her career working across various segments of the private equity value chain. She is excited to help build the Prysm platform in support of innovation and disruption.

Prior to Prysm, Lauren was a Vice President at Audax Group, a private equity and private debt manager with over $27 billion of capital under management. Lauren spent almost four years as a member of Audax’ Investor Relations team, focusing her time on fundraising, product development, marketing, and operating strategy initiatives.

Lauren began her career in the Leveraged Finance group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she partnered with middle-market companies to structure credit facilities. Lauren was then a member of the Primary Investment Group at HarbourVest Partners, where she sourced, recommended, and monitored venture capital, growth equity, buyout, and credit partnership investments. She was also a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working primarily with consumer products and retail companies.

Lauren earned a BSBA degree from The Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Lauren is originally from North Carolina and has also lived in Boston and Philadelphia. A perennially displaced southerner, she currently resides in New York City where she enjoys exploring the city’s different neighborhoods, strength training and movement fitness, and learning ever so slowly to cook.
