Soonthorn Ativanichayaphong's work experience began in 1999 at IBM, where they worked as an Advisory Software Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing various software applications and tools related to speech recognition and web technology. Soonthorn worked at IBM until 2008.

After leaving IBM, Soonthorn joined Yap Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer.
