Zulhendri Abdullah has extensive experience in government relations and public affairs. Zulhendri currently serves as the Head of Government Relations & Corporate Secretary at Prudential Indonesia, where they manage government relations functions and develops strategies to support the company's business objectives. Prior to this, they were the Head of Government and Public Affairs at Homnicen (Honglicheng) Group in China, where they established and maintained communication channels with government departments and represented the company in public affairs activities. Zulhendri also worked as the Government and Public Affairs Manager at Hitay Energy Holdings, where they analyzed proposed legislative actions and worked with stakeholders to align new laws and regulations with the industry's objectives. Zulhendri has also held positions at the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation and Shanghai VESLON Co. Ltd, where they were involved in diplomatic and regulatory roles. Zulhendri's early career included roles as the External Relations Manager & Media Consultant at the D-8 Organization and as the Import & Purchasing Manager at UNI-FORM Teks. Ins. San. Dis. Tic A.S, where they were responsible for strategic business development and international purchasing.

Zulhendri Abdullah, QCRO, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in International Relations and Affairs at the University of Indonesia. Zulhendri then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management and Organizations at Fatih University in Istanbul, Turkey. Additionally, they have undertaken Graduate Studies in Economics at Marmara University. Zulhendri Abdullah has also obtained certifications as a Qualified Chief Risk Officer (QCRO) from the Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP) in 2022 and as an Associate, Life Management Institute (ALMI) from LOMA in 2021.
