Andres Castro has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Andres worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Proxxi, where they developed internal APIs, handled data stream processing, and collaborated on the frontend app using Typescript, Postgresql, and React. Prior to this, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Sirena, where they worked on WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger integrations, created new integrations using external APIs, and managed a large volume of messages. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Smiling Cosmos and as a Junior Developer at 2+2 Interactive, where they developed minigames, created a system for managing marketing promotions, and gained valuable experience in the field.

Andres Castro attended Instituto ORT from 2001 to 2004. During their time there, they studied as an Analista de Sistemas, focusing on the field of study related to systems analysis. In October 2020, they also obtained their EFSET English Certificate, scoring 71 out of 100, indicating a C2 Proficient level of English proficiency. The certificate was awarded by the EF Standard English Test (EF SET) institution.
