Janika Parkkinen is an experienced consultant and project manager at Proxion since August 2022, following a tenure as a project manager at Sweco from November 2019 to August 2022, focusing on railway signalling system commissioning. Prior roles include design engineer positions at NRC Group Finland and VR Track Oy, where railway signalling systems were also commissioned. Janika began a professional career at Oy Atlas Copco Rotex Ab as a master's thesis worker, conducting a lean project on supply chain processes, and has held various trainee positions emphasizing purchasing, logistics, and warehouse operations. Janika holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, complemented by studies at Loughborough University.
