Kaya Zoratto is a dedicated mental health registered nurse with extensive experience in both clinical and educational settings. Currently, Kaya works at Providence Care and Kingston General Hospital, focusing on patient education for peritoneal dialysis and advocating for patient needs within an interprofessional team. Additionally, Kaya volunteers with KFL&A Public Health in school health teams and flu immunization clinics, and has a background in geology as a senior field crew member with the Ontario Geological Survey. Educational qualifications include an accelerated Bachelor of Nursing from Queen's University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Geography from Carleton University. Other roles include teaching, camp counseling, and lifeguarding, showcasing a strong commitment to community and education.
