David Walt is a highly accomplished academic and entrepreneur, currently serving as Co-Founder and Director at Protillion Biosciences and Vizgen, as well as holding prominent positions at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering and Harvard Medical School as Hansjörg Wyss Professor of Biologically Inspired Engineering and HHMI Professor. In addition, David Walt is a Professor of Pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and has co-founded several companies including Sherlock Biosciences, Arbor Biotechnologies, Ultivue, and Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute. David Walt earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from Stony Brook University.
