Nick Nooren has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the energy and infrastructure industries. Nick is currently the Head of Customer Success at Proteus, where they are responsible for managing the business and improving margins. Prior to Proteus, Nick worked at Withthegrid as an Investor and Commercial Development Projects professional, focusing on driving the commercial organization and direction of the business.
From 2016 to 2020, Nick served as the Chief Operating Officer at WTS Energy, leading the day-to-day business operations and supporting M&A processes. During this time, they successfully acquired, integrated, and divested The Sniffers business. Nick also served as a Member of the Board at The Sniffers from 2018 to 2019.
Before WTS Energy, Nick held leadership positions at Lloyd's Register Energy, where they operated as the General Manager of the Middle East, India, and Africa Hub, and later as the Area Business Manager for the Middle East and Africa. Nick was responsible for strategic and operational business plans, achieving double-digit growth rates, and implementing a solution selling approach to key clients.
Earlier in their career, Nick worked at Stork Cooperheat Middle East as the Branch Manager and Manager for Sales & Marketing. Nick also worked as a Sales Manager, focusing on developing and maintaining client relationships for air-conditioning special systems in building projects worldwide.
At Heijmans N.V., Nick worked as a Project Developer, establishing a new business area focused on infrastructure projects and public-private partnerships. Nick built a network of contractors, partners, and government representatives to acquire and develop projects.

Nick Nooren attended Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Nick then went on to attend Nyenrode Business University from 1996 to 1997, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in General Management.
