Stéphane Bahraoui has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of mass spectrometry and biopharmaceuticals. Stéphane started their career as a Mass Spectrometry Intern at CEA, Institut de Biologie Structurale, where they gained experience in protein characterization and quality control using various instruments. Stéphane then joined CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique as a Mass Spectrometry Intern, where they focused on developing methods to improve the sensitivity of phosphorylated peptides.

Afterwards, Stéphane worked at Covance CLS as a Medical Technologist, specializing in Special Chemistry and Toxicology. Their responsibilities included performing drug analysis using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry and sample preparation. Stéphane then transitioned to NovImmune as a QC/Analytical Senior BioManufacturing Assistant, where they managed and performed stability studies, pre-formulation, and method development.

Next, Stéphane joined SGS M-Scan as a Mass Spectrometry Analyst, specializing in biopharmaceuticals services. Stéphane utilized their expertise in protein and glycans chemistry and worked in a customer service-oriented environment under GMP and GLP conditions. Stéphane performed various analyses using LC-MS, LC-MS/MS, ES-MS, and GC-MS.

In 2015, Stéphane joined Waters Corporation as a High-Resolution MS Application Specialist, focusing on biopharmaceuticals in Southern Europe. Stéphane provided on-site customer training and support for high-resolution mass spectrometry systems and specialized in ADC, mAbs, and glycans. Stéphane excelled in customer communication and organization.

Currently, Stéphane is working at Protein Metrics, LLC as a Senior Scientist Customer Success for Europe, Middle East & India. Their role involves providing customer success and support for their software, which analyzes large and complex data sets from various experiments and instruments. The software aims to enable researchers and laboratories to gain scientific insights and develop new diagnostics and therapeutics.

Stéphane Bahraoui began their education at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. They then continued their education at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 from 2006 to 2007, earning a Master 2 degree in Structural and Functional Biochemistry.
