Parth Havnurkar serves as the Head of Investment & Market Risk at Protective Life since May 2022, previously holding the position of Head of Investment Risk. Prior to that, Parth operated at Prudential Financial from December 2016 to May 2022, where responsibilities included leading portfolio analysis for US businesses within the Chief Investment Office and serving as Investment Vice President in Enterprise Risk Management, focusing on economic capital modeling for various asset classes. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Economist and Economist at the Federal Housing Finance Agency, where Parth specialized in credit modeling and the evaluation of financial models. Academic positions include serving as a Dissertation Fellow and instructor at the University of Virginia, as well as adjunct faculty at Piedmont Virginia Community College, and teaching assistant roles at the University of Florida. Parth Havnurkar holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Virginia, a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics & Philosophy from the University of Connecticut.
