Luis Castro is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing integrated software systems. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer/Lead Software Systems Engineer at Protective Life since August 2016, responsibilities include engineering software using Java and supporting functional requirements. Previously, at Inspirato, from 2014 to 2016, Luis worked as an Integration Developer, focusing on enterprise system integration and piloting innovative architecture. Prior roles include Senior Technical Consultant at Ventyx, Senior Software Engineer at Aurora Loan Services, and Project Team Lead/Senior Software Engineer at Great-West Life. Luis holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Technological Institute of Tijuana.
