Kate Acker has had a varied and extensive career, beginning in 2006 when they were a Creative Advertising Intern for 20th Century Fox. Kate then moved to UBS Private Wealth Management in 2008, where they held the roles of Registered Client Service Associate and Intern. In 2012, they joined Fox (Film, TV and Sports) as a Regional Distribution Coordinator and Regional Distribution and Marketing Assistant. In 2017, they became a Development & Events Assistant (Contract) for the New York Police & Fire Widows' & Children's Benefit Fund. In 2018, they took on the role of Team Coordinator for Alyvant, Inc. and also worked as a Development & Events Associate (Contract) for Bank Street College of Education. Most recently, in 2020, they became Manager, Legal Operations and Executive Assistant To CFO & VP, Head of HR for Protara Therapeutics.

Kate Acker attended Azusa Pacific University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a degree in Marketing. In 2007, they also attended Universitat de Barcelona to study Marketing and International Business. In 2016, they attended NYU School of Professional Studies for Public Speaking.
