Thomas Schröter has extensive work experience in the field of protein analysis and research. Thomas currently holds the position of Senior Scientist at ProtaGene, starting in June 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Scientist II specializing in Capillary Electrophoresis at the same company since January 2022. Before joining ProtaGene, Thomas worked at Protagen Protein Services GmbH as an Application Specialist for CE/HPLC from October 2017 to January 2022. Thomas began their professional career as a Doctoral Researcher at Ruhr-Universität Bochum in January 2013 and completed their role in June 2017.

Thomas Schröter completed their education in the field of Biology at Ruhr University Bochum. Thomas obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology in 2009, followed by a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology in 2012. Thomas then pursued further studies and achieved a Doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) in Biology in 2017.
