Valerie Pascale is a seasoned professional in sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, currently serving as Sustainability & ESG Support in the exploration and junior mining sector at Modern Core since April 2021. In addition, Valerie holds multiple advisory roles, including Sustainability/ESG Advisor at Balkan Mining and Minerals, Orix Geoscience Inc., Willeson Metals, and Exiro Minerals Corp, all since 2021. Valerie chairs the Sustainability Committee for the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada and is a longstanding member of the Devonshire Initiative since 2009. Prior experience includes managing Corporate Social Responsibility at Newmont Corporation until October 2020, and Valerie has held key leadership positions such as Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Working Group. Valerie's academic background includes a BA with Honours in International Development and Latin American Studies from the University of Guelph.
