Tung Tran began their work experience as an iOS Developer Intern at Astraler Technology in October 2014. Tung then joined Prospection Pty Ltd in January 2015 as a Software Developer and worked on the PharmMap platform. Tung was responsible for architecture, algorithm, and solution design as well as development and performance optimization. During their time at Prospection, they achieved the reduction of reporting time for multiple dashboards from minutes to sub-seconds and served 2000 sessions at one point.

In October 2017, Tung took on the role of a Senior Software Developer and developed the Forecast Blaster prototype. Tung utilized Java/Spring Boot and React/Redux, integrating Alteryx server and Tableau server in the pipeline. Tung successfully managed the project independently and delivered the prototype.

Additionally, Tung worked as a Senior Software Developer at Prospection, starting in November 2017. Here, they contributed to the development of the PharmDash platform, which processed longitudinal patient data to provide insights for Research and Market Access applications. Tung was responsible for various tasks, including architecture and solution design, development, QA, and guiding and reviewing solutions of team members. Tung also worked on performance and process optimization.

In June 2019, Tung took on the role of Senior Software Developer at Prospection and worked on the JanPlan platform. Tung utilized Java/Spring Boot and React/Redux, as well as D3, Echart, and AWS services. Tung successfully managed project requirements and completed all change requirements within six weeks.

Tung Tran began their education at Le Quy Don High School for The Gifted in Danang City, Vietnam from 2006 to 2009. Tung then went on to study at UNSW from 2010 to 2011, where they completed Foundation Studies with a focus on the Physical Science Stream. Tung continued their studies at UNSW from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Tung Tran obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Udemy in June 2019 and a CERT IV in Business from NAVITAS PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PTY LTD in December 2015.
