Maren Lootz Aarthun is an experienced professional in the field of aquaculture, currently serving as a Project/Project Planning Leader at Prosjektil since November 2023. Prior to this, Maren worked at AKVA group ASA as an R&D Engineer focused on Recirculating Aquaculture Systems from August 2021 to November 2023, where responsibilities included project management and sustainability initiatives. Maren's career also includes roles as a trainee and summer intern at various organizations such as Skretting and Norges Fiskarlag, providing hands-on experience in aquaculture research and operational support. Maren holds a Master of Science in Fisheries and Aquaculture Science from UiT The Arctic University of Norway and has participated in further education in recirculating aquaculture at the University of Bergen. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries and Aquaculture Science and additional studies in biomedical sciences.
