Senior Director Capital Markets at ProShares

Rich Ledee, CFA has a diverse range of work experience in the financial industry. Rich has held positions at various companies, including ProShare Advisors LLC, Source Exchange Traded Investments, LLC, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, US Securities and Exchange Commission, and Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

At ProShare Advisors LLC, starting in 2015, Rich served as a Senior Director Capital Markets, where they were responsible for trading and execution of ProShares ETFs. Rich managed relationships with market makers, authorized participants, exchanges, and ETF trading desks. Additionally, they provided expertise on market structure related to the ETF industry and trading.

Prior to ProShare Advisors LLC, Rich worked at Source Exchange Traded Investments, LLC from 2014 to 2015 as an Executive Director of Sales and Capital Markets. During their time there, they coordinated the start-up of the US offices and led the launch of a new ETF in the US. Rich designed and implemented a sales plan targeting over 1,000 clients across 10 different market segments.

From 2005 to 2014, Rich worked at Bank of America, first as a Director, ETF Sales and Marketing, where they played a crucial role in establishing a dedicated ETF sales and marketing desk. Rich designed and implemented a successful marketing and sales plan to grow the ETF trading business. Prior to that, they served as the Director - Institutional Equity Derivative Sales, where they marketed and sold a wide range of equity derivative products globally.

Rich's career started at Merrill Lynch in 1998, where they worked as a Documentation Specialist. Rich later became an Equity Derivatives Sales Trader - Wealth Management Division, advising Merrill Lynch Financial Advisors and their clients on equity option trading strategies. Rich also created an option overwriting program for financial advisors with concentrated stock positions.

Before joining Merrill Lynch, Rich worked at the US Securities and Exchange Commission as an Enforcement Attorney from 1995 to 1998. Their responsibilities included investigating and prosecuting violations of federal securities laws, focusing on cases involving accounting fraud and breach of fiduciary duty by investment advisors.

In 1989, Rich began their career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in Bank Supervision. Rich conducted on-site financial examinations of commercial banks and analyzed banking company financial statements to assess their financial health.

Throughout their career, Rich Ledee, CFA has gained extensive experience in various areas of the financial industry, including ETF trading, sales and marketing, equity derivatives, and regulatory enforcement.

Rich Ledee, CFA received their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Yale University in 1989. Rich then attended Cornell Law School from 1992 to 1995, where they earned their JD degree.
