Jasper Aikema is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in system engineering, particularly in Linux environments. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer and Linux Team Lead at Proserve and team.blue since June 2016 and June 2019 respectively, Jasper also contributes as a Committee Member for Provincie Drenthe and has been a Foundation Member of OpenStack since October 2012. Previous roles include OpenStack specialist positions at Warpnet B.V. and JA, where Jasper focused on hosting, cloud services, and IT consultancy. Earlier experience includes roles at Scarlet Oak IT Specialists, Imperial Tobacco, and Gemeente Groningen, where Jasper managed a significant number of Linux servers. Jasper holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Hanze University, obtained from 2002 to 2006.
