Tobias Hoppe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the railway industry. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at PROSE since April 2022, Tobias previously held the position of Production Manager at SBB CFF FFS from October 2017 to March 2022, where responsibilities included the maintenance of railway vehicles. Before that, Tobias worked at Deutsche Bahn from October 2004 to September 2017, progressing to the role of Head of Provision and Maintenance in Basel and Karlsruhe, overseeing operational maintenance and cleaning services. Additionally, Tobias has held several project management positions related to vehicle technology and approval processes, including responsibilities for the design and project leadership of the ICE3M and BR4000 series. Academically, Tobias holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a degree in Technical Project Management in Mechatronics from Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz.
