Steven van Niekerk is currently the CTO at ProQuo AI. Steven has over 20 years of experience in the software development industry. Steven started their career as a developer and then progressed to senior developer, architect, and technical lead roles. In 2009, they founded React Solutions ZA (Pty) Ltd and has been developing software solutions for retail businesses. Steven also worked as a contractor for Bitsmiths (Pty) Ltd. In 2017, they joined Standard Bank Group as a Technical Specialist and consulted on the improvement of Development Cycle and product stability.

Steven van Niekerk has a computer science diploma from the CTI Education Group in information technology. Steven also has a high school diploma from Welkom High School in natural sciences.

Steven van Niekerk reports to Nadim Sadek, Founder & CEO. They work with Searsha Sadek - CRO, Jae Muzhuzha - Brand Design Director, and Nicolas Milicevic - Head of Systems & Platforms.
